At an elevation of 2,189 meters, this magnificent lake fills the caldera of the active volcano Paektu Mountain. The crystal-clear blue waters, surrounded by dramatic peaks and unique volcanic landscapes, create one of China's most breathtaking natural wonders. The lake covers an area of approximately 9.82 square kilometers and reaches depths of over 200 meters.
