Jingyuetan Lake Area

Jingyuetan Lake Area, located in the southeast of Changchun, is one of the largest man-made forests in Asia covering over 100 square kilometers. Created in the 1930s, this stunning ecological paradise features a crescent-shaped lake surrounded by lush pine forests that create a serene oasis in the industrial city. The area serves as Changchuns green lung and is particularly famous for its four distinct seasons each offering unique scenic beauty. In spring cherry blossoms paint the landscape pink while summer brings vibrant greenery and water activities. Autumn transforms the forest into a golden wonderland and winter turns the area into a snowy paradise perfect for winter sports. The lake itself covers 4.3 square kilometers with crystal clear waters that reflect the surrounding forest creating breathtaking views.
