Baotu Spring Park is the crown jewel of Jinan known as the City of Springs. This magnificent park showcases the legendary Baotu Spring which has been gushing forth crystal clear water for thousands of years. The spring water maintains a constant temperature of 18°C throughout the year creating a magical misty atmosphere in winter. The park spans 10.5 hectares featuring traditional Chinese gardens classical pavilions winding corridors and numerous other springs. Baotu Spring itself erupts with tremendous force shooting water columns up to 26 meters high making it one of the most spectacular natural wonders in China. The park also houses memorial halls dedicated to famous Chinese poets and writers who were inspired by this natural marvel including Li Qingzhao one of Chinas most celebrated female poets from the Song Dynasty.
