Yesanpo Geological Sites also known as Yesanpo National Geopark is a magnificent geological wonderland located in Laishui County Baoding City Hebei Province This UNESCO designated Global Geopark spans over 600 square kilometers and represents one of Chinas most complete geological records dating back 14 billion years The park features breathtaking karst landscapes deep canyons unique rock formations and diverse ecosystems that tell the story of Earths geological evolution The area is particularly famous for its spectacular Baili Gorge which stretches for 50 kilometers with towering cliffs reaching up to 300 meters high Visitors can witness extraordinary geological phenomena including ancient marine fossils volcanic rock formations and evidence of multiple tectonic movements that shaped this remarkable landscape over millions of years
