Day 1 The Qin mausoleum landscape at Lintong

The museum displays the terracotta army created for Qin Shi Huang’s mausoleum complex. Allow time to move through the exhibition halls and read the site interpretation; follow the current reservation and identity-document rules published by the museum.

Huaqing Palace sits in the same Lintong area and adds a separate layer of imperial and landscape history. The grounds are extensive, so choose the areas that interest you and check the current site map, entry hours and any performance schedule before travelling.

Day 2 The Ming wall and the city’s central axis

The present city wall is a major Ming-period landmark built over earlier urban foundations. Walk a manageable section from a gate that suits your route; cycling availability, gate access and ticket rules should be checked locally before you commit to a full circuit.

Bell Tower

The Bell Tower stands at the center of the old city and helps orient you to the historic street grid. View the structure from the surrounding public streets or check current access arrangements if you plan to enter; traffic around the junction can be busy, so use designated crossings.

Day 3 The Muslim Quarter and the Great Mosque

Explore the lanes at a considerate pace and treat them as an active community, not a staged attraction. Use the visit to learn about the area’s food and trading culture; check ingredients and cross-contact if you have dietary restrictions.
