Explore the Charm of Xi'an
The Terracotta Army is a collection of thousands of life-sized, intricately detailed clay soldiers, horses, and chariots that were buried near the tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China, to protect him in the afterlife. Discovered in 1974 by local farmers, the site comprises several massive pits containing the figures, each with unique facial features and arranged in military formation. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers a breathtaking glimpse into ancient Chinese history, artistry, and imperial power.
