Black Tiger Spring is one of the most iconic natural springs in Jinan, known as the City of Springs. Located in the heart of the city, this spring gets its name from the roaring sound of water gushing from three stone tiger heads, which resembles the roar of a black tiger. The spring water emerges from a limestone cave and flows through three carved tiger heads into a rectangular pool. With a daily flow of over 40,000 cubic meters, it ranks among the most productive springs in Jinan. The water maintains a constant temperature of 18°C (64°F) year-round and is famous for its purity and mineral content. The surrounding area features traditional Chinese architecture, stone bridges, and pavilions that create a serene urban oasis.
