About China Art Museum

China Art Museum opened in 2012 inside the iconic 'Crown of the East' pavilion built for the 2010 Expo. Its galleries show modern and contemporary Chinese art, including ink painting, calligraphy, and sculpture. The highlight exhibition often features Zhang Zeduan's famous 'Along the River During the Qingming Festival' animated scroll. General admission is free, with special exhibitions charged separately.
