About China Maritime Museum
China Maritime Museum opened in 2010 in the Lingang area of Pudong. Its centerpiece is a full-scale reproduction of a Ming-dynasty treasure ship like those sailed by Zheng He. Galleries cover navigation history, shipbuilding, ports, and maritime trade, with interactive simulators and models. The museum is next to Dishui Lake, a pleasant spot for a walk after visiting.
