About Guyi Garden
Guyi Garden was first laid out during the Ming Dynasty in 1522 and rebuilt several times over the centuries. Its pavilions, rockeries, ponds, and bamboo groves follow classic Jiangnan garden design. In summer the garden is famous for its lotus blooms, and in spring for plum blossoms. Nanxiang, the town around it, is also known for its xiaolongbao dumplings.
