About Qiuxia Garden
Qiuxia Garden dates from the early 16th century and is one of the oldest classical gardens in Shanghai. Its name means 'garden of autumn glow', and its halls, rockeries, and pond views are especially lovely in autumn. The garden sits close to the Jiading Confucian Temple and the old town's historic streets. It is a peaceful, low-key alternative to the city's busier gardens.
