About Shanghai Film Museum

Shanghai Film Museum opened in 2013 on the site of the historic Shanghai Film Studio. Its four floors use projections, props, and interactive displays to tell the story of Chinese film from the 1920s to today. Visitors can walk through recreated studio sets, see costumes and cameras, and watch clips of classic films. The 'red carpet' hall with rotating celebrity exhibits is a highlight.
