About Shanghai Planetarium
Shanghai Planetarium opened in 2021 in the Lingang area of Pudong and is part of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum system. Its futuristic building uses three arcs to evoke the movement of celestial bodies, and the 23-meter projection dome delivers immersive space shows. Exhibits cover astronomy, spaceflight, and planetary science, including a real lunar sample. Advance online booking is required.
