About Shanghai World Financial Center
Completed in 2008, the Shanghai World Financial Center was the world's tallest building when it opened. Its distinctive trapezoid aperture earned it the nickname 'bottle opener' among locals. The observation deck on floors 94-100 includes a glass-floored skywalk at about 474 meters where visitors can look straight down. From the top, the view takes in all of Lujiazui, including the neighboring Jin Mao Tower and Shanghai Tower.
