About Xinchang Ancient Town

Xinchang Ancient Town preserves a traditional Jiangnan water-town layout with canals, stone bridges, and whitewashed houses. Unlike busier towns, it remains largely residential and uncrowded. The old street offers local snacks, handmade crafts, and small museums such as the Former Residence of Ye Lin. Filming locations from several Chinese movies and TV series can be spotted along the lanes.
