About Xujiahui Cathedral
St. Ignatius Cathedral, popularly known as Xujiahui Cathedral, was completed in 1910 and is one of the largest Catholic churches in China. Its twin spires, stained-glass windows, and pointed arches make it a striking Gothic landmark. The church stands next to the historic Xujiahui Library and other Jesuit-era buildings. Visitors may enter during public opening hours, with Mass celebrated on Sundays.
