About Qibao Old Town
Qibao, meaning 'seven treasures', is a compact water town just southwest of central Shanghai. Its main street is packed with snack stalls selling stinky tofu, zongzi, and candied hawthorn, alongside craft shops and small museums. The Qibao Pagoda and the old temple anchor the historic core. The town is easy to reach by Metro Line 9, making it a popular half-day outing.
